Stainless steel blade 8.5cm (n°8). The Sandvik stainless steel developed for Opinel is renowned for its sharpness and ease of maintenance. Stainless steel capable of undergoing the heat treatment which gives it its good hardness called martensitic. It has a carbon content of at least 0.40% which makes it possible to obtain a satisfactory cutting edge without being susceptible to corrosion.

Natural varnished beech handle. Virobloc double security system. This stainless steel safety ring locks the blade in the open position for safety of use but also in the closed position for safety during transport.
