Opinel Plumier Mushroom n°8

The OPINEL Champignons knife was created to facilitate the picking and preparation of mushrooms, this tool has a thin, curved blade with a toothed back which allows the cuticle to be easily removed. Its handle has a boar bristle brush to easily remove soil.

7 cm Sandvik stainless steel blade (No. 8). The Sandvik stainless steel developed for Opinel is renowned for its sharpness and ease of maintenance. Stainless steel capable of undergoing the heat treatment which gives it its good hardness is called martensitic. It has a carbon content of at least 0.40%, which makes it possible to obtain a satisfactory cutting edge without being susceptible to corrosion.
Virobloc double security system. This stainless steel safety ring locks the blade in the open position for safety in use but also in the closed position for safety in transport.
