Families with multiple pets can purchase additional tags . The medium-sized SmartDoor can also be paired with microchips, allowing cats to enter without a tag. Note that the microchip function only works for cats and with the average SmartDoor; It is compatible with FDX-B/15-digit, FDX-A/10-digit, AVID H, and AVID 9 or 15-digit microchips.

As an owner, you may want to establish a cut-off time for your furball to go out. Thanks to the My PetSafe application, you can set personalized schedules that will allow your pets to access the door at specific times.
